Unlike the classic side-by-side double shotgun, over-and-under shotguns offer several advantages for target shooters or those who prefer high shot rates when pigeon-shooting. Their advantage lies in the fact that they are easier to handle, due to the high design of the espagnolette and the resulting larger size of the forearm, making shooting more pleasant as the huntsman does not have to handle a hot barrel. We recommend calibre 20/76 for this design.
